Dear Diary, Today I am going to share with you the best vodka cocktail that isn't overly sweet and loaded with sugars or dye filled juices. This cocktail is my go-to when making cocktails at home or that have the ingredients available. I don't know about you but personally, I am not big on super sweet drinks but I also don't just like a stiff or just on the rocks cocktail. I like to have something a little sweet, a little tarty, and with lots of sass... like my personality ;) Anywho back to the recipe! This recipe is light, and refreshing like the winter sun however I consider this a seasonal drink. It's great for any occasion such as a spring brunch, a hot summer day, or a warm fall dinner night with some added cinnamon to the rim... YUM!!! The vodka I went with in the recipe is Fifty States Vodka. It's made from organic sweet corn which sets it aside from any other premium vodka that I've tried. The flavor is incredible, it goes down so smoothly and acclimates well with just about anything. Add Ice to your shaker last in order to prevent the ice from melting into your ingredients and giving it an overall better chill!
